empowered by the spirit for mission

CharisMissional Disclaimer

You may have wondered what I get out of this blog and why am I writing here.

This is not an official church blog

CharisMissional is about my Christian faith and I am an active member of my local church. But you should not assume that this means I am blogging on behalf of my church (or any other organisation I am connected to). No-one as asked me to write this blog. No one pays me. I earn my living from college lecturing. The opinions expressed on this blog are entirely my own.

This blog is set up to make money

Yes, I can earn money through the blog. I promote affiliate products on this blog mainly through Amazon. If you buy through this site I will earn a small commission at no extra cost to yourself. I am also considering experimenting with some adverts on the site that may pay me a small amount if you click them. My aim is to only promote products that I feel are relevant to my readers.

Making money is not my main goal

I want to be transparent about this. I do hope to generate a little income to offset the set up costs of the site and the time and emotional energy I have put into it. But I am not just in it for the money. My principal motive is to write about what I am learning from God in the hope that it will benefit others. That is what I find truly satisfying. I blog because I love God and I love blogging.
